From Our Friends at Extra Innings

You are Invited 

We'd like to invite you to our gala event for our Extra Innings Baseball League sponsored by the Hopscotch Foundation, The event is on December 23rd, at the Old Church on 1422 SW 11th. The reception begins at 6:30 followed by the concert at 7:30.

My long-time friend, Michael Allen Harrison, is devoting this night to celebrating the success of Extra Innings Youth Baseball/Softball in Portland. Extra Innings is growing at such a fast pace. We just finished our second season with 12 teams and 150 players from ages 5-12 and were able to field two teams at the 13–14-year-old level bringing us to a total of 14 teams and 175 players.   We don't see the growth slowing down as there is a huge need and a huge appetite for youth activities in Portland.

Michael's foundation, Play It Forward, provides music lessons and instruments to low-income children in the area, and has a mission that's directly aligned with Extra Innings - to provide awesome access to kids whose families couldn't afford it otherwise. We are both working on the ground and in the community making an impact.

The "Christmas At The Old Church" Concert is a long-standing Portland event that Michael provides and takes place throughout the month of December. Tuesday evening, December 23rd, is the perfect night to find the joy that will carry into Christmas Eve!!! Great for all ages!!!

A $100 per person donation to Hopscotch Foundation, principally for Extra Innings, will get you into what I'm sure will be a festive party. Use the link attached to make your donation (for example, 5 people would be $500). Donations beyond that amount are welcomed and needed.
